How to Make the Most of this Program
These are in no particular order and are based on my observations over the past 10 years of running online programs, of how to make it easier to create new habits, and make the forthcoming exercises part of your daily life.
- Make a Decision to set aside 15 minutes a day for the coming 28-days and decide when the optimum time would be; Are you a morning person? In which case, waking up 20 minutes earlier might suit. If you are someone who has a proper break during the day, then you might schedule it in during lunch. Others of you might prefer to make it an evening practice once the day is over.
- Schedule It. When you have decided what time would ideally suit you, schedule it into your diary/phone/calendar so that reminder messages pop up daily for the next 28-days. This will help to make it more habitual, and even if you ‘snooze’ the reminder, you are much more likely to fit it in because the mind does not like incomplete tasks, thoughts, or ideas.
- Familiarity. With the daily e-mails, look at the Exercise to familiarise yourself with it and then have a read of the introductory text which explains why you are being asked to do that particular activity. This will reinforce in your mind the reasons and benefits of doing it.
- Organisation. Previous delegates have created a separate e-mail folder for the Daily Exercises. The e-mails will all have the word ‘Final Win’ in the subject line, so you can also do a search for them should you want to go back and revisit them.
- Tools. Have the resources you will need throughout this challenge to hand. This might include the Final Win Workbook, pen, paper, timer, water, webinar login details, etc. Identify if there is anything that you need that day and have it ready or easily accessible beforehand.
- Workbook. Use the Final Win Workbook. You can complete the Exercises and charts in a separate notebook, or print it out. Choose whether you want to update it in the morning, as an afternoon exercise, or in the evening. If you didn't receive the workbook as a free gift and bonus ticket to this Challenge, a copy is included as part of your Challenge enrolment. You will find it in the next section.
- Benchmark. Complete the Pre and Post Questionnaires are they are a useful way to benchmark and track your progress over the 28-days and beyond.
- Accountability. Commit to completing the daily exercises and share your experiences and successes. Declare what you will do and report back when you've completed it because this increases your internal motivation and focus.
- Participate. If you can, take part in the webinars and do the exercises in real-time, whether you are taking part live, or watching the replay recording. Share your experiences and successes because it is a powerful way to cross pollinate insights and ideas and reinforce your own learning. I have also found this to be a great way to build in a natural sense of accountability.
- Ask Questions. While the challenge is live, you have the opportunity to ask questions in advance of which live webinar session. This provides you with an opportunity to address the any issues, gain clarity, and get coaching support.
- Have fun with it! If there are sections in the Workbook you've never considered or know about yet haven't ever really looked at or focused on, be excited to dive in and generate new ideas and potential strategies.
This program does not offer any financial, sales, or marketing advice, and you are responsible for the decisions you make.
